1. App Purpose
Concert Archive is a privacy-first mobile app owned and operated by Junbum Cho for classical music lovers to privately journal and archive concerts they attended. Users can record concert attendance, write private notes, upload and view concert photos, intentionally share selected memories, and understand their personal classical concert history over time.
Concert Archive is not designed as a public social network. The app does not create a public follower graph or publish private journal entries by default.
2. Information We Collect
Google account information
If you choose to sign in with Google, Concert Archive may request and receive basic Google account identity information, such as your name, email address, profile photo, and Google account identifier. This information is used to authenticate you and connect your account to your private Concert Archive data.
Concert Archive accesses Google user data only after you choose Google Sign-In and complete Google's consent flow. The expected Google OAuth scopes are limited to basic identity scopes such as openid, email, and profile.
Concert Archive does not request access to Gmail, Google Drive, Google Calendar, Google Photos, YouTube, or other Google content unless a future version clearly asks for that access and this policy is updated.
App content and account data
Depending on how you use the app, Concert Archive may collect and store:
- Account profile information, such as display name, email address, and profile image.
- Concert archive entries, including concert titles, dates, venues, repertoire, performers, ratings, tags, and attendance history.
- Private notes, reflections, uploaded photos, and related metadata.
- Support messages or contact information you provide when requesting help.
- Technical information needed to operate the service, such as authentication records, security logs, device or app diagnostics, and abuse prevention signals.
3. How We Use Information
Concert Archive uses collected information to:
- Provide Google Sign-In, authentication, account creation, and account recovery support.
- Identify your account so your private concert archive can be saved and retrieved across devices.
- Store, display, and organize your concert entries, private notes, and photos within the app.
- Enable intentional sharing features only when you choose to share selected memories.
- Respond to support requests and communicate about account or service issues.
- Maintain security, prevent misuse, troubleshoot errors, and improve reliability.
- Comply with legal obligations and enforce the Terms of Service.
4. How We Store Information
Concert Archive uses Firebase services, which may include Firebase Authentication, Cloud Firestore, Cloud Storage for Firebase, and related Firebase security and diagnostic services. These services may store account data, authentication identifiers, archive records, private notes, uploaded photos, and operational logs needed to run the app.
Data may be processed and stored on infrastructure operated by Google and Firebase. Storage locations and retention behavior may depend on the Firebase project configuration used by the app.
5. How We Share Information
Concert Archive does not sell personal data. Concert Archive does not share Google user data for advertising, does not use it to build a public social graph, and does not disclose private notes or photos publicly unless you intentionally use a sharing feature.
Information may be shared only in limited cases:
- With Google and Firebase as service providers needed to authenticate users, store data, host infrastructure, secure the app, and operate the service.
- With other people or services only when you intentionally choose to share selected memories or exported content.
- When required to comply with law, legal process, security obligations, or to protect the rights, safety, and integrity of users and the service.
6. Google API Data and Limited Use
Concert Archive's use and transfer of information received from Google APIs will adhere to the Google API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements.
Google user data received through Google Sign-In is used only for authentication, account creation, user identification, support, abuse prevention, and app security. It is not sold, used for advertising, or used to create a public social network profile.
If Concert Archive later needs additional Google API access, the app will request consent for those permissions and this Privacy Policy will be updated before that access is used.
7. Security
Concert Archive uses reasonable administrative, technical, and organizational safeguards designed to protect user data. These may include Firebase Authentication, Firebase Security Rules, access controls, encrypted transport, restricted administrative access, and monitoring for misuse or reliability issues.
Administrative access to production user data should be limited to people who need it to operate, secure, debug, or support the app.
No method of transmission or storage is perfectly secure. Users should protect their Google account and device credentials and contact us if they believe their account has been compromised.
8. Data Retention
Concert Archive keeps account information and user-created archive content for as long as needed to provide the app, maintain security, comply with legal obligations, resolve disputes, and enforce agreements. If you delete content or request account deletion, we will delete or de-identify associated data within a reasonable period unless retention is required for legal, security, backup, or abuse-prevention reasons.
9. User Control and Deletion
You may update or delete concert entries, notes, and photos using supported app features where available. To request account deletion, data deletion, or a copy/export of your data, contact junbum0121@gmail.com.
If account deletion is supported directly inside the app, use the in-app deletion control. If not, contact support and include the email address associated with your account so the request can be verified.
10. Children
Concert Archive is not intended for children under the age required to consent to online services in their jurisdiction. If you believe a child has provided personal information without appropriate consent, contact junbum0121@gmail.com.
11. Third-Party Services
Concert Archive uses Google and Firebase services to provide authentication, account management, cloud storage, database storage, security, and operational infrastructure. These providers process information according to their own terms and privacy policies.
This public website does not include tracking scripts. If analytics, crash reporting, payment processing, email delivery, or additional backend services are added later, this policy should be updated before those services are used with personal data.
12. Changes to This Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. The updated policy will be posted on this page with a new effective date. If changes materially affect how Concert Archive uses Google user data or other personal data, we will provide notice as required by applicable law or platform requirements.
